By interval of Iván Espeche, actor protagonist of “Suburban Cult”, Jose relates to Gianfranco Quattrini, who was in search of a script in order to make his first work. To this purpose Jose wrote ” Peaje Buenos Aires “, a story that describes with richness of details the armed confrontation between two groups of drug dealers (one masculine group and another feminine group) inside an inaccessible buildings neighborhood.
With the fall of the government of president De La Rúa, the accomplishment of the mentioned film failed, so that Jose proposed to Gianfranco another production, which allow them to express their wide vision, without limit of time to film it, and the script focusing the conditions that really affected the protagonists.
